Spotlight 7 returns to satire social issues that are critical in today’s society. Like the previous 6 series, the show cleverly and masterfully mocks social backwardness, lying, corruption and taboos that shape entire communities.

The series consists of thirty episodes in which each episode spotlights one or more subjects. Each spotlight is designed to highlight the subject using comedy or black comedy to reveal the tragic truth of society through entertainment allowing the viewer to think critically about the issues.

The series diverse topics come from talented writers who with the actors bring out characters that we recognize and relate to. The comedic team’s main goal is not to draw attention to their character, but to showcase the spotlighted theme.

The Standard Bearers II

Taking place in Damascus during the late 19th century, The Standard Bearers (part II), continues its story of people who carried the flags of goodness against those who stood for oppression and injustice.

The series resume with Abu Hassan and his barren wife Dalal (part I), and her plan of revenge against everyone around her.

After her release from the hospital, Dalal asks for her son Ahmed, which Abu Hasan refuses.

QaaQaa

Qaqaa Bin Amr A’tamimi is a historical drama set during the development and spread of the Islamic state, highlighting one of the companions of the Prophet Muhammed, Qaqaa Bin Umaro A’tamimi.

A dynamic leader, whose strength and courage was said to move mountains. His personality made him equal to that of a thousand men.

This biographical work looks at his life and the many battles that raised the banner of Islam. The show also covers many important Islamic turning points in history that occurred during his life including his
acceptance of Islam during The Year of the Deputation, defending the “MEDINA” (the city of the Prophet 'pbuh')

Black Box

The Black Box is a TV series that focuses on social issues plaguing people today. These issues have been caused by little secrets that have become rooted in peoples’ souls, and the effect of those secrets on their daily lives.

The Black Box revolves around a scheming woman, and the oppression of her family for two generations. Under the power of the matriarch Qadayraa, the family struggles and suffers due to her tyranny and pride. Qadayraa yields the power to destroy household. Every marriage, divorce and every other family matter are governed with her iron fist.
