The story of this TV series speaks about the spiritual human ties which are bound and separated by love. The incidents take place in the late seventies, when Jalal Ibrahin, who is interested in writing, goes to jail because of a false political charge. Involved in political affairs, then a fugitive, he crosses the Lebanese borders where he meets his Palestinian friend “Qasim” with other different friends from different nationalities, Arab and none Arab in South Lebanon. Then he works as a war-correspondent reporting the clashes between the Palestinian and Lebanese Resistance on one side and the Israelis on the other. The Israelis where trying to keep the Arab resistance away from the Leetani river. And Lebanon was a field battle.
Jalal moves from south Lebanon to Beirut and works for a magazine with a nick name, “Mamduh Adnan” . This name becomes his permanent name after he knows that his beloved “Bisan” has divorced him and got married to colonel “Nazim”, his Jailor who agreed to accommodate the child who was adopted by ‘Bisan’, because of his love of her.
Jalal family consists of a father who works in teaching, and a mother of a fudal origin, and “Haifa” the  bigger daughter who works as a teacher in an elementary school, and a smaller daughter, “Uroobah” who studies law. “Uroobah” caches up with her brother in Beirut where she gets acquainted with Qasim’s fiancé who lives in Sabra and Shatila Camp and works for the Palestinian Information Centre; and then they become friends. “Syidah” who studies in Beirut Arab University falls in love with Jalal, “Mamdooh Adnan” whom after she has accommodated in her father’s house in a border village after he had walked for several days and nights. When Beirut siege starts ‘Urooba’ gets stuck and enrolls in the resistance. Jalal escapes from prison and Abu Naser, the officer in charges becomes responsible for detecting him.
The siege ends and the Palestinian resistance gets out of Lebanon. The Israeli Army becomes free handed for inflicting destruction. The massacre of Sabrah and Shatillah takes place. The war destroys Najat’s family. Najat bcomes the only survivor to be a witness of the cruelty of the massacre. The Israelis take ‘Uroobah’ as a prisoner to Al-Khaiyam prison where she suffers great torture till the time of freeing the prisoners by the resistance forces in the year 2000.
This TV series depicts historical glimpses such as the fall of the USSR, and the fall of Berlin Wall over to 11th September incident which parallels Al-Aqsa Intifadah…
Jalal, neglecting the risk of being jailed again, goes back home after being fallen a prey of a serious sickness. He chooses to die in his homeland giving himself in to the inescapable death authority.
The story ends with July 12th war and the return of the UN forces, wondering whether it is the fate of this nation not to be left in peace…
This work has adopted new technique in the montage, which will make it much more exciting for the viewers.
