A historical TV series. Its events take place during the golden stage of the history of the Islamic Arab Civilization in Andalusia. It is the stage which includes a part of the Caliphate of Abdurrahman Annasir who is counted as the greatest Umayyad Caliphs in Andalusia in addition to the Caliphate of his son Alhakam Almustansir and the rise of Almansoor the Son of Abi Amer from among the public to the ruling seat and hindering the Umayyad Caliphate and his establishment of the strong Amiri State in Andalusia.
This series portrays the great sides of the civilization in that golden age which witnessed great advancement in the fields of art, science and literature to the extent that Cordoba became the greatest among the cities of the then civilized world. It also became the centre of the political steering in the peninsula of Iberia. The mosque of Cordoba was the greatest university of that time.
It used to receive students from Europe and other parts of the world which led to the European renaissance after one century.
This series focuses on the life story of Almansoor son of Abi Amer and his rise from a humble background, and his gradual advancement in positions from a writer on rags in Alzahraa’, the city which was founded by Abdurrahman Annasir, to other different positions inside the Palace till he captures the seat of ruling and becomes the only dictator over it.
This work also projects the role of ‘Subh the Bashcansiyah’ (the mother of the sons of the Caliph Alhakam Almustansir) in ruling, and her compound sentimental and humane relationship with Almansoor son of Abi Amer, which ended in bitter conflict with the Sultan. The series blends between portraying the political, artistic, educational and social situation and the sentimental and humane relations. It also pictures a great humane love story which grows and develops within the frame of the political events.
Woman, in this work plays a distinguished role through unrevealing the secrets of the significant role of bond women in steering the political life there in spite of all prevailing social bonds.
The work poses serious questions and cases about the problems of the present  situation regarding the ruling, authority, and the conflict between the noble aims and the selfish and suspicious means which disfigure the aims and divert them and leads to dictatorship in spite of all the great achievements.
The work also focuses on the role of the public in the political and social life, which is the side ignored by many researchers and historians. And it also poses serious questions and cases in the frame of an impressive, rising humane story, giving special attention to the delicateness of the basic historical accounts. This makes the work a historic dramatic document which gathers the dramatic and artistic trace with epistemic value based on authentic historical resources.
This work comes after ‘Saqr Quraish’ which was shown in last Ramadan  on the ‘mbc’ and which portrayed the stage of establishing and strengthening the State in Andalusia. The team working on this new series and on the previous one, ‘Saqr Quraish’ hopes to be able to present an integral picture of the most important joints of great Andalusia History. Therefore, other series are expected to follow in the future for completing this big project.
