The Role:

- To proactively identify the communication needs of the organization and relationship with the markets and drive key messages through creative channels
- To develop greater awareness of TV channels as well as print and online media.
- Creating PR campaigns to evaluate and lead the strategies and the goals of the organization and communicate with the public in these fields.

Tasks :

- Leading the development of the communications strategy for the public in Syria and the Arab region.
- Managing and maximizing media outreach for the public by identifying public relations opportunities in regional media through print and online channels, as well as for specific trade shows and events
- Liaising with the public on all PR requirements for specific PR activities, including:
- Conceptualizing PR plans and communication strategies
- Commissioning and reviewing necessary press-related material including press releases, features, speeches, editorials, quotes and responses to media enquiries


Skills


- Key demographic requirements/applicants must have:
- Experience in PR for 5 years or above
- Background in communication and/or creative marketing
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Efficient administration skills
- Previous journalistic experience is desirable
- The right candidate for this role must be:
- Highly organized and proactive
- Fluent English and Arabic speaker

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism/Communication or Marketing.
